Lagos, Nigeria– Hon. Barr. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi, the Member representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives, has released a detailed list of projects and initiatives he has executed since assuming office as a first-term lawmaker.
In a statement to his constituents and Nigerians, the lawmaker highlighted achievements in solar street lighting, power infrastructure, road rehabilitation, solar boreholes, and human capital development across key communities including Ago Okota, Ejigbo, Isolo, Okota, Ilasamaja, and surrounding areas.
A) Solar Street Lights Projects Executed
1) Dele Orishabiyi Street, Ago Okota – 35 units
2) Dr. Fredrick Fashuen Avenue, Ago Okota – 20 units
3) Green Field Estate, Ago Okota – 10 units
4) Cele Bus Stop off Mile 2 Express Way, Okota – 15 units
5) Okota Police Post – 5 units
6) Church Street, Jakande Estate, Oka-Afa – 12 units
7) Junction Bus-Stop to Elewe Bus-Stop Road, Jakande Estate – 11 units
8) Chris Idowu Street, Ejigbo – 23 units
9) Olusesi Street, Ejigbo – 10 units
10) Segun Awolowo Street, Ejigbo – 25 units
(and several others across Bucknor, Ilasamaja, Ajah Estate, Canal Estate, Ajao Estate, and more, with unit counts ranging from 8 to 25 per location).
B) Other Completed Solar Street Light Projects
– 20 units at Century Street, Ago
– 35 units at Dele Orishabiyi Street, Ago
– 5 units at Okota Police Station
– 12 units at Church Street
– 15 units at Cele Bus Stop
The lawmaker also stated that over 300 additional solar street lights were executed across the constituency.
C) Infrastructure & Electrification Projects Executed
– Donation of 300KVA transformer to Segun Awolowo Community, Ejigbo
– Donation of 500KVA transformer to Ajoke Okusanya Community, Okota
– Upgrade of Itire Transformation Station from 30 MVA to 60 MVA
– Road repairs by FERMA at Ago Palace Way (Opposite Community Road)
– Rehabilitation and completion of Ejigbo-Isolo-Mushin Road (awaiting commissioning)
– Rehabilitation of Amusu Street Community Hall, Ilasamaja
– Drainage system assessments in Isolo, Okota, and Ejigbo
D) Road Projects Executed (Completed & Ongoing)
Rehabilitation of the following streets/roads:

– Kogberegbe Street
– Akinbaiya Street
– Ehingbeti Spur Street
– Olu Ajulo/Okeho Street

Provision of boreholes to the following locations:

– Padana Street, Isolo
– Ansar-Udeen Street, Ejigbo
– Oba Ejigbo Palace
– Amusu Street, Ilasamaja, Isolo
– Agbeke Street, Okota
F) Human Capital Development
Hon. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi sponsored 18 participants on foreign training programmes in China. The beneficiaries include:
Mr. Victor Ejike Obi, Chief John Onyebuchi Uche, Engr. Walter Ukaga (Artificial Intelligence & Media Development), Barr. Njideka (Cyber Security), and 14 others.
These projects form part of the dividends of democracy delivered by the first-term federal lawmaker to his constituents.
